SUPERINTENDENT COMPANY LIMITED (SSCL) is an indigenous independent quality control and commodity Inspection Company, incorporated in 1996 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 1990 to provide services in the areas of Oil and Gas Inspection, Containerized Cargo Inspection, Marine Survey, Commodity Inspection and stock Management, Environmental and Pollution Monitoring and Control, Industrial and Engineering Equipment Inspection and Allied Services.
We have been in active Inspection and Cargo Surveying business for over twelve (12) years of unbroken service while our Principal Technical/Operations Staff possess experience well over thirty (30) years in different areas of Cargo Inspection including Containerized Cargo Survey and Tally, Draught Survey, Dry Bulk Cargo survey, Quality and Quantity certification of Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), Palm Oil, Palm Olein, Caustic Soda, Tallow and other industrial Chemicals. Other areas are General Cargo Inspection, Collateral Management, Oil Terminal audit, Stevedoring, trucking supervision and warehousing etc.
With a crop of experienced Technical Staff and a strong Management Team, with a strong financial base, we are positioned to undertake assignments in any aspect of inspection with the ultimate goal of adding immense value to the business of our Clients. Our core responsibility has been to professionally determine the accurate quantity and quality of cargo at any location on jobs assigned to us for survey/inspection using technically experienced/qualified staff and international best practices.
In all Petroleum Products, Oil, Gas and Chemicals quantity determination, we make use of measurement techniques and calculation procedure as contained in API, Energy Institute (EI) Manual of Petroleum Measurements Standards (MPMS) to accurately ascertain the quantity of cargo loaded or discharged from a vessel (ship) while lying afloat at Berth, Mid-stream or offshore and in shore tanks.
Superintendent Company Limited (SSCL) have the relevant Technical training, equipment and professional experience to provide the relevant top class services in petroleum products quantity and quality determination/certification.
We have been rendering unbroken services on liquid Bulk Cargo Survey Services to NIPCO PLC, (Petroleum Products and Gas) since 2005 till date, Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) since 2009 till date, Optima Energy, Geneva, since 2008, Netura Limited UK, since 2009, Knightsbridge Limited (Petroleum Products and Base Oil) since 2008, among others at both Offshore, Inshore and Onshore locations.
We have also carried out Petroleum Products discharged and received quantities investigation/ verification for Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).
The re-award of Cargo Superintendence contract to us by PPMC in October, 2015 for superintendence of product discharges at New Atlas Cove Jetty and Ibafon Jetties, Lagos in 2018 and above mentioned services to various Organizations are clear testament that we have all it takes to serve the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) in the area of Cargo Inspection Services.
